Education
I graduated from Champlain College in 1984 with a certificate in secretarial services and from Woodbury College in 1985 with a certificate in Paralegal Studies. While working full time I went back to school in 2003 and attained my bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Lyndon State College in 2007.
I worked as a legal assistant/paralegal for attorney Anthony Aiossa in Hardwick, Vermont from 1984 until November of 1992. I then worked with Robert Gensburg and his succeeding firms in St. Johnsbury from 1995 until 2010.
While working full time, raising three boys and occasionally helping my husband, Perley, with our farm, I studied to become a lawyer. In July, 2010 I passed the Vermont bar exam and was admitted as an attorney on December 7, 2010, at which time I became a partner of Gensburg & Greaves.
More About Me
I grew up in Hardwick, Vermont. I have lived in Walden, Vermont since October 1985 when I married Perley Greaves and I moved to the Greaves farm in Walden. Perley and I raised three sons while he ran our dairy farm.
I was a member of the Walden School Board for three years during the time my sons attended. I coached my sons’ soccer, basketball and baseball teams. I was a member of the St. Johnsbury Football Fans when my boys attended St. Johnsbury Academy and were members of the football team. Being involved in my sons’ education and other activities has been an important part of raising well rounded children.
You could say I am proud of my husband and my three sons!
